Basic Tips for Playing Electric Guitar Chords

This guitar parts video goes over some techniques you can use to troubleshoot some of the chords you are learning. The previous video discussed the G and D chords, and the importance of making sure you are playing those properly. If they are not all ringing out clearly as you work your way down there are a couple of the different things you might be going wrong. Your finger may not be butted up against the fret or your fingers could be coming down on the strings correctly but you are obstructing other strings. It is important to make sure that everything has enough free space to be able to ring out clearly.
