The Children of the Sea | Black Sabbath

The album Heaven and Hell which included the song Children of the Sea became one of Black Sabbath’s best-selling albums. The album revitalized Black Sabbath’s fortunes after original lead singer Ozzy Osbourne’s was fired from the band. Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy Osbourne and was joined by Geoff Nicholls of Quartz who was seen as a possible replacement for Geezer Butler was going through a divorce at the time. When Geezer Butler made the decision to stay with the Black Sabbath Geoff Nicholls switched to keyboards and remained with the group for over twenty years.
