The Kiss song Rock and Roll All Nite was originally released in 1975 on their album named Dressed to Kill. The song was released as the A-side of their fifth single. There was a live version that was released as a single in October 1975. It was one of six Top 20 songs for Kiss in the 1970s. Over time it became the bands most identifiable song and has performed as the group’s closing concert number in almost every concert since 1976. It was named the 16th greatest hard rock song of all time In 2008. Two noteable live performances of Rock and Roll All Nite occured during the 2002 Winter Olympics closing ceremonies and the American Idol finale opf season 8 with Adam Lambert.
