Paul Gilbert is considered one of the best hard rock/heavy metal guitar shredders since the 1980s even though he has never produced a totally all-instrumental solo album. His longtime admirers know it is not possible to predict the next move or direction he will take. In 2006 Paul Gilbert released his first-ever instrumental solo set called Get Out of My Yard.
